X says you can block Grok from editing your photos

X has introduced a misleading 'block modifications by Grok' toggle that doesn't actually prevent the AI chatbot from editing users' photos. The feature only blocks one specific mechanism (@Grok tagging in replies) while allowing other ways for Grok to manipulate uploaded images, creating a false sense of privacy protection.
